So why should you hire me to buy a new home? Some builders will tell you there is no need to use a Realtor. This is analogous to the other party's insurance company telling you you don't need to hire a lawyer to handle the car accident after their client hits you (True story). Builders have the onsite agent, the sales manager, the regional manager, the construction superintendent and a legal department just to name a few representing them.

A Realtor who has experience in new construction and knows the local inventory can help you find the best property, knows the incentives available and can negotiate the best deal. I use to be an onsite sales representative for a major builder so I know how they operate. A Realtors commission is paid for by the builder and if the buyer does not use one, they keep the funds.

Right now is a great time to buy from a builder. They are offering a lot of incentives including money to help cover closing costs and interest rate buy-downs. The key to remember is these incentives are for Quick Move-In homes or inventory homes. Please call for more information. 512-963-8761
