About Jay Quigley

Jay Quigley is a Tampa REALTOR, Broker Associate, licensed School Instructor and Tampa native helping buyers and sellers throughout Tampa Bay, including New Tampa, Tampa Palms, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Land O’ Lakes, Zephyrhills, Dade City, Riverview and Brandon.

Growing up, Jay loved music and had a goal of becoming a radio disc jockey. While still in high school, he landed his first radio gig at AM1250 WDAE (also generally regarded as "Florida's First Radio Station"). From there, Jay worked at other local radio stations playing various musical formats and ultimately landing as a producer for a national talk radio network based in Tampa.

While still working in radio, Jay enrolled in college and earned an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies and, later, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He spent more than two decades working with attorneys, gaining a strong foundation in communication, organization, preparation, advocacy, negotiation, and attention to detail. Today, those skills shape how he represents real estate clients across the Tampa Bay area.

Jay works with sellers, buyers, first-time home buyers, relocation clients, military families, seniors, and clients navigating probate, divorce, and other major life transitions. His approach is practical, educational, and client-focused. He helps people understand the market, evaluate their options, and make confident decisions without pressure, confusion, or real estate smoke and mirrors.

As a Tampa REALTOR with a Broker License, a School Instructor License, and having acheived the prestigious Florida REALTORS Board Certified Professional designation, Jay brings a strong commitment to education, leadership, and professional growth. He believes the best real estate experience comes from clear communication, honest guidance, smart pricing strategy, strong marketing, skilled negotiation, and a steady hand from contract to closing.

Jay is also deeply connected to the community he serves. As a Tampa native, he brings local insight that goes beyond maps, zip codes, and MLS data. He understands the neighborhoods, lifestyle, traffic patterns, schools, restaurants, parks, and everyday details that help buyers and sellers make better decisions.

Jay has served his profession as the President of Greater Tampa REALTORS in 2023, served on the Board for the National Association of REALTORS, and continues to serve on the Board for Florida REALTORS. In 2025, Jay was awarded REALTOR of the Year for the Suncoast Tampa Association of REALTORS.

Outside of real estate, Jay enjoys live music, vintage audio equipment, Datsun and Nissan car events, great conversations, cigars, bourbon, and grilling or smoking meats. In other words, he knows homes, he knows Tampa, and he probably has an opinion on the best way to smoke a rack of ribs!
