Circle S Farm – a 48-acre equestrian estate once home to Kentucky Derby winner Spendabuck – operated as a prominent training and breeding farm for more than 30 years under the ownership of Betty and Ralph Sessa. Betty and Ralph maintained the property as their home, which they shared with more than 50 horses and their other beloved animals, such as Betty’s cougar “Sheba”. In memoriam, Betty and Ralph Sessa were high school sweethearts and their marriage lasted 49 years producing four children, nine grandchildren and to date four great-grandchildren. We are proud to uphold the legacy of this land, the champion thoroughbred race horses that once roamed it, as well as the Sessa family.
