I try to find the positive in everything. I grew up without my mother, had a limited relationship with my father and I lost one brother to the streets my senior year of high school. I persevered through difficult times including Hurricane Andrew in 1992 in Miami, FL. I had a daughter I never knew existed until I was served with child support papers, only to end up getting full custody of her. After getting custody my first wife rejected her, and I later found out my daughter had the same behavioral issues as her mother. I lost my second brother to the streets in 2003, and my third brother (not street related) in 2010. Despite facing numerous challenges throughout my life, I thank GOD every day I'm above ground & realize these experiences have shaped me into who I am today.
