About West Point Builders

Tom Curran Sr. started building homes in 1957. Today, West Point Builders in not only about Tom Curran Sr., it’s also about Desmond, Patrick, and Tom Jr. The company has evolved into one of the most respected building companies in the Chicago area. The Currans have taken their family values, which include; mutual respect, honor, honesty, competency, a willingness to serve and a commitment to excellence in their careers, and extended those values into their building company. West Point Builders is built upon experience. That foundation delivers customer satisfaction to homebuyers of single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes and apartments. Chicago area homebuyers, both in the city and in the suburbs, have sought out the Currans’ new communities because of their innovative home designs, their quality construction and their willingness to personalize each home. An example of their foresight is the extraordinarily popular community named Riverside at Ole Caton Farm, a Planned Unit Development (PUD) that is located in Plainfield, Illinois. The community introduced the first ever of its kind, the concept of single-family townhome. The land plan that led many buyers to purchase homes in this new community was also recognized by Builder Magazine, which is one of the many voices of the National Homes Builders Association, and the Chicago Sun Times which named Riverside at Ole Caton Farm as Chicagoland’s Planned Unit Development of the Year in 1993. West Point Builders is proud of the recognition they have earned from the homebuyers, the media and the homebuilding industry. The ultimate recognition for the Currans derives from the personal satisfaction of achieving individual customer satisfaction. After all, that’s what it’s all about.
